With Gretchen Belgrave on fiddle and Peter Krug on Guitar and Vocals you know that the Celtic, Americana, and Original tunes you hear will be Inspirational and uplifting.

Known throughout the San Francisco Bay Area as a singer/songwriter, Peter has been been playing in the folk idiom since the 60’s. Many of his original songs have been recorded by various artists throught the years.

It was from playing on the streets of San Francisco, that Gretchen moved from her extensive years of classical training, to branch out and begin to explore other genres, especially ones that move folks from their seat to their feet!

Gretchen and peter formed Happenstance ten years ago, and people have been singing and dancing along ever since. Happenstance can be seen all over the North bay at venues as diverse as Farmer’s Markets, Parties, Fund Raisers, Weddings, and Seasonal Celebrations. They have even been known to play a couple of Corporate Gigs, all for the joy of music and the economic stimulus benefits.

Currently Happenstance can be heard the Third Sunday of every month at the French Garden in Sebastopol, and will also be appearing at The San Francisco Folk Festival in June.
